BEAM in the Park
We invite you to join us for an afternoon of community and togetherness, as we gather for a community picnic in Riverside Park, Ballymoney, on Sunday 17 August.

Picnic
Pack some sandwiches, a wee bun and some juice, and come join us on the grass for a Sunday afternoon picnic in the park.

Games
Get active with some fun games and activities, with fun for everyone of all ages. Getting active helps raise self-esteem and improve mood.

Entertainment
Take a walk through the park and check out some wonderful local entertainers as they provide the background soundtrack to the day.

Wellbeing
Everyone is welcome. There’s no need to register, just pack your picnic and join us, 2pm-4pm, for an afternoon of community and wellbeing.

BEAM – Building Empowerment & Awareness to Mind– was established to explore ways to promote positive messages about mental health and sources of support across the town and surrounding area.
The organising group is made up of Hannah Graham, Katherine Murphy (Building Communities Resource Centre), Zara Hutchinson (Ballymoney Community Fridge), Clare Doherty (Community Rescue Service) and Ballymoney Councillor, Lee Kane.
